Block Websites During Certain Hours in Chrome and Edge

Starting a focus session by hand works when you remember to. A schedule removes the step. Pick the weekdays and the hours, and SuperchargeFocus applies your rules on its own whenever that window comes around.

It runs in Chrome and Edge.

Setting Up Recurring Focus

Open the panel, go to recurring focus, and choose:

Days	Any combination of Monday to Sunday
Start	Any time, in 24-hour format
End	Any time; earlier than the start means overnight

During the window, your block list or allow list applies exactly as it does in a manual session. Outside it, sites open normally.

Overnight Hours

A window from 22:00 to 07:00 starts on the evening of each chosen day and ends the next morning. Choose Friday and the Friday night window still runs into Saturday morning, even if Saturday is not selected.

Pause This Occurrence

Plans change. When a scheduled window is running, Pause this occurrence stops it for today only. The schedule stays on, and the next chosen day starts as normal. No need to edit the days and remember to put them back.

Breaks During Scheduled Focus

Take a break works inside a schedule the same way it does in a session: 5 or 15 minutes, then every restriction returns. A daily break budget from 0 to 240 minutes keeps breaks in check across the day.

Schedules and Manual Sessions

The two work together. If you start a focus session during scheduled hours, both are active and the rules apply until both have ended. If you pause the scheduled occurrence, a manual session you start still applies.

Schedules and Daily Allowances

Daily allowances run all day, every day, independent of the schedule. A site with minutes left is still blocked during scheduled focus if it is on your block list.

Can the hours run past midnight?

Yes. Set an end time earlier than the start time and the window runs overnight. It starts on the day you chose and ends the next morning.

How do I skip today without deleting the schedule?

Click Pause this occurrence in the panel while the window is running. Only the current occurrence stops; the next one starts as usual.

Do breaks work during scheduled hours?

Yes. A 5 or 15 minute break pauses the schedule's restrictions, then they return. An optional daily break budget limits how many minutes of breaks you can take.

Do I need a session running for the schedule to work?

No. Recurring focus applies your rules on its own during the hours you set. A manual focus session can run on top of it.
