Capture Mode Stays On Between Tracks

Capture mode used to switch off every time the page's address changed, so on music and video sites, skipping to the next track turned the boost off and you had to open the popup and turn it on again. It now stays on while you move around the same site — the next track, the next video, a new page, a reload — and only switches off when the tab goes to a different site. The normal boost and EQ were never affected: they already kept working across track changes. A new Classical EQ preset gives a gentle lift to the low and high ends with the mids left flat. No new permissions.

Capture Mode Stays On Between Tracks

Capture mode — the boost path the popup offers with “Turn on capture” for sites whose audio can’t be reached directly — used to switch off every time the page’s address changed. On music and video sites the address changes on every new track or video without the page reloading, so on a music site, skipping to the next song turned capture off, and you had to open the popup and turn it on again. Capture now stays on while you move around the same site: the next track, the next video, a new page on the same site, and a reload of it. It still switches off when the tab goes to a different site, so it never keeps capturing audio from another site.

A different subdomain counts as a different site.

The normal boost and EQ path — the one most sites use — already kept working across track changes, so if you never turned capture on, nothing here changes for you.

A New Classical EQ Preset

The preset list gains a Classical option: a gentle lift at the low and high ends with the mids left flat. It appears after Acoustic.

What Carries Over

No new permissions. No listing changes. Everything from 1.0.7 carries straight across: your saved EQ presets, Smart Mute and its settings, the ordinary boost and EQ controls, and the capture offer with its hint, badge, and popup banner.
