Arrows Now Move Sideways

Inspect v1.0.1 Pending review

1.0.1 polishes how SuperchargeInspect moves and reports colors. Left and right arrows step to the element beside the current one, and elements without a background of their own now show the color you actually see behind them. The breadcrumb can grow onto more rows, and after a few copies the extension may ask once for a rating.

  • Left and right arrows now move to the element beside the current one.
  • Gradient text shows as "Gradient" in the Text color, with the real gradient in the swatch.
  • Elements without a background now show the color you actually see behind them.

Fixes & Other Changes

  • Left and right arrow keys now move to the element beside the current one on screen, while up and down still step through the page in reading order. Before, all four arrows did the same thing.
  • Text colored with a background gradient now shows as “Gradient” in the Text color, with the real gradient in the swatch. Before, the gradient’s color was shown as both the text and the background color.
  • When an element has no background of its own, the Background color now shows the color you actually see behind it (for example, black on a dark page) instead of “Transparent”. The copied reference also names that visible background.
  • The breadcrumb of parent elements can grow onto more rows when you expand it, so long paths stay readable.
  • After a few copies, SuperchargeInspect may ask once for a rating. Small promos for other SuperchargeBrowser extensions rotate and can be dismissed.
  • No new permissions.
