Theme-Aware Icons, Cross-Promo & Fresh Blocklists

Performance v1.2.2

The toolbar icon now shows how much RAM you've saved: a live canvas-rendered badge with the stacked number and unit, updating as tabs get suspended. Icon color adapts to your system theme automatically. The global toggle gains a timed pause option — disable optimizations for a set duration and they come back on their own. Arabic support added, bringing localization to 28 languages.

  • Theme-aware toolbar icons — blue bird (light mode), amber bird (dark mode)
  • Canvas-rendered RAM counter badge in the toolbar
  • Timed pause/resume for global on/off toggle
  • Arabic locale added, German & Turkish listings optimized
  • Refreshed blocklists with 186K declarativeNetRequest rules

Theme-Aware Icons

The toolbar icon now adapts to your system theme. Light mode shows the classic blue bird; dark mode switches to an amber variant. The popup logo follows the same theme logic for a consistent experience.

RAM Counter Badge

The toolbar icon is replaced by a canvas-rendered badge showing how much RAM you’ve saved — displayed as a stacked number and unit (e.g. “4.2 GB”). The badge uses the extension’s blue brand color in light mode and a black background with white text in dark mode.

Cross-Promotion Banner

Users who’ve had the extension installed for 7+ days will see a dismissible banner promoting SuperchargeNavigation — our vertical tabs and workspaces extension. The banner uses the same visual language as the rating milestone banners and can be permanently dismissed with one click.

Timed Pause & Resume

The global on/off toggle now supports timed pause — disable all optimizations temporarily and have them automatically re-enable after the chosen duration.

Locale & Listing Updates

  • Added Arabic (ar) locale
  • Optimized German (de) and Turkish (tr) CWS listing titles and descriptions
  • Updated CWS promotional tiles and marquee with new brand-consistent design

Refreshed Blocklists

All upstream blocklist sources have been refreshed. The compilation produces 186,567 rules across three tiers: 100K ad/tracker (Free), 65K privacy/telemetry (Medium), and 22K security/threats (PRO).
