Rebrand, Refreshed Blocklists & Stability Fixes

The extension is now SuperchargePerformance — renamed to sit clearly alongside SuperchargeNavigation. All blocklist sources are freshly compiled: 186K+ declarativeNetRequest rules across three tiers. Frozen tab detection, Safe Mode reliability, and fresh-install blocking all got fixes. The whitelist toggle now reads the correct state when you reopen the popup.

Rebrand to SuperchargePerformance

The extension has been renamed from “SuperchargeBrowser” to “SuperchargePerformance” to clearly distinguish it from SuperchargeNavigation — our new vertical tabs and workspaces extension. All in-extension UI, CWS listings, and localized descriptions have been updated across all 27 supported languages.

Refreshed Blocklist Sources

The entire blocklist stack has been refreshed with the latest upstream sources. The new compilation produces 186K+ declarativeNetRequest rules across three tiers (Free, Medium, and PRO), with stale chunks automatically cleaned before recompilation.

Stability & Compatibility Fixes

  • Frozen tab handling: Tabs in Chrome’s frozen state (Chrome 132+) are now correctly skipped during suspension checks
  • Safe Mode reliability: Fixed DNR session rule cleanup, pushState navigation guard, and toast theme support
  • Prioritizer performance: Deferred IntersectionObserver initialization until after first layout pass to avoid blank-page race conditions
  • Fresh install blocking: Resolved an issue where content blocking rules weren’t applied on first install
  • Dashboard accuracy: Improved RAM calculation methodology and metrics flush timing
  • Site toggle: Fixed popup whitelist toggle not reflecting the correct state on reopen
  • CWS listing optimization: Updated titles and descriptions across 27 locales with improved keyword targeting
