The automatic zoom feels much steadier in this release. It now holds the frame on the area you're working in and glides to follow only deliberate cursor moves, instead of tightly tracking every small wiggle. The camera and microphone permission prompts have been redesigned as calm, clear invitations rather than red error-style banners. The popup gains an "Open editor" button so you can reach past recordings to review or edit without recording something new, and the polished cursor is now off by default — you can switch it on in record settings whenever you want it.

Auto-zoom that holds the frame
The automatic zoom used to follow the cursor closely, so every small movement nudged the view and the result could feel restless. It now works more like a real camera operator: it holds the frame steady while you fidget within a small area, then glides to reposition only when you make a deliberate move. Pans are slow and considered rather than snappy, so a zoomed clip reads as a calm, framed shot instead of a view that chases your pointer around.
Calmer camera & microphone prompts
When camera or microphone access hadn’t been granted yet, the popup showed a red, error-style banner — which read as though something had gone wrong, even though you simply hadn’t allowed access yet. Both prompts are redesigned as neutral, accent-tinted invitations (“Allow camera for the bubble”, “Allow microphone for audio”) with a clear Enable button. Nothing has failed; you’re just being asked.
Quick access to past recordings
The popup now has an “Open editor” button that appears once you have saved recordings or screenshots. It opens the editor directly so you can review or edit past work without starting a new capture, and it shows how many saved items you have.
Polished cursor now optional
The polished cursor — the smoothed, synthetic pointer drawn over recordings — is now off by default. If you prefer it, you can switch it back on in the record settings; recordings simply use your real cursor unless you opt in.
