Reliable Drive sharing & a tidier editor

Capture v1.0.1

Two fixes in this patch. Sharing or exporting a recording to Google Drive could freeze at "Uploading 0%" because a video render step hung before the upload ever started — that path now renders and sends the file through reliably. Screenshots were never affected. The editor toolbar also stays put: the Export, Share to Drive, and Save buttons hold a consistent size instead of resizing or getting squished, including when a Drive status message appears.

  • Fixed recordings that stalled at "Uploading 0%" when sharing or exporting to Google Drive — a render step ran before upload and could hang
  • Editor toolbar buttons keep a steady size now, so Export, Share to Drive, and Save no longer resize or squish when a Drive message shows up

Drive sharing no longer stalls

Sharing or exporting a recording to Google Drive could get stuck at “Uploading 0%”. The cause sat one step before the upload: a video render stage would hang, so the file never made it out. That stage has been fixed, and recordings now render and upload — or export — without freezing. Screenshots used a different path and were never affected by this.

A steadier editor toolbar

The Export, Share to Drive, and Save buttons in the editor toolbar now hold consistent sizes. Before, they could resize or get squished, most noticeably when a Drive status message appeared and the layout shifted around it. The buttons stay stable through that now.
