SuperchargeCapture's PDF export bundles the images of a capture into a single PDF, one image per page, in order. It is free, and the PDF is assembled on your device. A bug report, a step-by-step, a comparison of two pages. When the material is a set of images, attaching them one at a time is the annoying part.

## What PDF Export Does

SuperchargeCapture can export the images of a capture as a single PDF, with one image per page. The PDF option sits alongside the image formats: PNG, JPG and WebP, with PNG shown first. Like everything else in SuperchargeCapture, the export is free, with no paid tier.

## Setup in Three Steps

1. Capture your screenshots from the popup's Screenshot tab, choosing the visible area, a region, or an element.
2. Open the image editor from the popup's local library.
3. Export as PDF. The images go out as one file, one image per page, in order.

## What It Controls

| Output | Formats | Notes |
|--------|---------|-------|
| Screenshot | PNG, JPG, WebP | PNG is the default |
| Document | PDF | One screenshot per page |

Capture decides what gets shot, and the export format decides what the file becomes. A long page captured in full-page mode is stitched into one tall image during capture. That stitched image is one of the images in the PDF, not a set of pages that gets split up on export. When a full-page capture is too large to flatten into one image, it is kept as its parts, and those parts export as one ordered PDF. Every page preserves the image's aspect ratio, so a wide part keeps its shape.

## How It Differs From Image Export

PNG, JPG and WebP hand you single images. The difference is at export time, not capture time. The same images can go out as a stack of images or as one PDF, and nothing about how they were captured changes between the two.

## Permissions, Privacy and Compatibility

SuperchargeCapture declares the activeTab, storage, tabs, tabCapture, offscreen, scripting and unlimitedStorage permissions, plus an optional host-access permission for all URLs. Screenshots are stored in the browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS), in local folders on your device. Capture is blocked on restricted pages: chrome://, edge:// and about: URLs, plus the Chrome Web Store. The extension sends no telemetry, and the only data path off your machine is the optional, user-initiated Google Drive share.
