## Video Calls Survive Suspension

Three lists decided whether a call tab survived, and they had drifted apart: some call apps made it into the autoplay protection list, others into the suspension protection list, and a few into neither. A Webex call in a background tab could get discarded mid-call at the default five-minute threshold. All the lists now cover the same hosts — Google Meet, Webex, GoToMeeting, Jitsi, Microsoft Teams, and Chime — and a test fails the build if they diverge again. The call tab also gets a stricter check for "is this actually a call now": it runs in every frame of the page, and if it can't tell, it keeps the tab alive.

## Stop Autoplay Leaves Live Calls Alone

Google Meet builds a live audio stream per participant and recreates them on every join, unmute, or speaker switch. Each one got rejected and re-paused by Stop Autoplay's guard, which is how a live call went silent. A live stream is a call, a capture, or a mic monitor — never the marketing autoplay this feature exists to stop — so it is now exempt at every level. The guard also stops un-muting elements on its own: a deliberately muted element (like Meet's own self-view, muted to stop echo) stays the way the page set it.

## Scroll Recovery That Lasts

On some sites the cookie banner re-locks scrolling well after you've passed it — on a timer, or when you navigate back or restore a tab from memory. Before, the recovery sweep gave up early and only kept running while something ad-related was changing, so an ad-quiet page lost scroll recovery entirely. The recovery now has its own watcher that stays armed for the page's life and costs nothing until something actually locks scroll, and a back navigation or a restored tab re-runs it.

## What Carries Over

No new permissions. No listing changes. The blocklists are refreshed, the auto-consent engine is updated, and everything from 1.4.6 — self-repairing ad blocking, tracker blocking, the whitelists, and the rule counts — carries straight across.
